Weaver B. McLeroy, 89, was born January 21, 1926 to the home of Cecil McLeroy, and Martha Dreaden McLeroy, passed away April 25, 2015. He was a World
War II Army veteran serving in Central Europe. He was awarded the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Good Conduct Metal, among other metals for his distinguished service to his country. He was a carpenter by trade a member of Veterans Of Foreign Wars and The American Legion.. Weaver is survived by his son, Johnny McLeroy and his wife Melody, sister Loudene, grandchildren, Wendy, Corey, and Christie, ten great grandchildren, numerous other family members and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Bobbie McLeroy, daughters Pamela McLeroy and Patricia "Pat" Clark, brothers Wilbur and J.T. sisters, Amon, Elgie, Verna, Buena, Jewel, Mary, and Paulene.
Visitation is Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. at Moorhead Epps Funeral Home
Funeral service is Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Greenview Church in Emory, TX.
Internment is at Greenview Cemetery.
