Virgie Mae Tallent 69, was born August 23, 1942 in Levelland, Texas to the home of Edward Cates and Rachael Cannon Cates and passed away September 13, 2011. Left to cherish her memory are husband Garlon Tallent, Children Lenita Tallent, Garlon Tallent Jr. and his wife Kelli, Debbie Cates, Linda Massingill, brothers Bobby Cates and his wife Joyce, Charles Cates and his wife Lydia, sisters Shirley Duckett and her husband Gene, Louella Sanderson, Hazel Kizer and her husband Bill, Lenita Wolf, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous other family members and many friends. She was preceded by in death by her parents, a son James Tallent, brother Gerald Cates. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday September 24, 2011 at the Moorhead Epps Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Morgan officiating.
