V. Shockey

V.O. Shockey 84 was born March 22, 1926 in Amhurst, Texas to the home of Vergil Ode Shockey and Jivie L. Williams Shockey and passed away February 5, 2011 in Kaufman, Texas. He was a World War II Army veteran. Left to cherish his memory are Maxine his wife of 64 years, children Marland Shockey, Diane Elizabeth Shockey, grand children Brad Wayne McGary, Zachary Jordan Shockey, Nicole Renee Southerland, two great grandchildren Jeriah Shockey, Ethan Cole Southerland, numerous other family members and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Beatrice Mackey. Funeral services were Friday February 11, 2011 in the Moorhead Epps Funeral Home Chapel in Gun Barrel City.
