Tina Leann Mercer, 41, passed away on September 23, 2019. She was born on April 7, 1978, in Hood River, Oregon to the home of James and Linda Diane Glenn.
Tina is survived by her husband James Mercer, Sr.; children James Mercer, Jr., Hunter Mercer, Kaylee Mercer, Morgan Mercer, and Paige Mercer; brothers Sam Glenn and wife Melinda of Hood River, Oregon and Jack Glenn of California.
Tina loved her family more than anything. She was a wonderful, loving, and caring wife and mother. Her children each have special memories about their mother.
Morgan - When she would go over the announcements at a football games when it was raining and everyone was sad she started to talk in a weird voice and all the kids started to laugh. Then we would ask her to do it some more and she told us “no” but later she would do it.
Kaylee - When we were little and we had a birthday party she would be the person who would plan the most. She would also be the person who said “we won’t go overboard this time,” and she would make a cake for 50 people and only 10 showed up. She would have 50 shirts to tie die and only a few people showed up. She was a very giving person. She would do anything to make the people she loved happy, and I would have done anything for her.
Paige - Whenever we told my mom we had a project she would get very excited and start planning everything. Normally it would be over the top and most of the time it would be food.
James Jr.- For me, it was the 11 years of football that she worked and tried to always make every game she could, saving up the money so we can play in Little League, trying to get game day off and driving to the game to watch us play, waking up at 5 a.m. to go to cheer competitions, making sure we had what we needed, and letting my dad coach as long as he did.
Hunter - It would have to be when we went to the drive-in in Ennis. They had a putt-putt golf course that had a massive stag elk that she would have us take a picture of because we wouldn’t go but once a year.
Tina will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
