Tamara Elaine Ramsey, 61, passed away surrounded by her loving family on, October 25, 2023, in Mabank, Texas. She was born on May 17, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, to parents Billy Brookshire and Janelle Finley.

Tammy married the love of her life, Terry Ramsey on March 1, 2006, in Lake Chesdin, VA. They spent many years of happiness, love, and laughter together. The love they shared was one of a kind. Tammy enjoyed her career as a supervisor at Seward Luggage, where she showed unwavering dedication and commitment. Colleagues remember her as someone who could always be relied upon for guidance and support. Her positive attitude brightened even the toughest days, making the workplace a better environment for everyone.

Tammy was a woman who found joy in simple pleasures. She was an active member of Wildwood Baptist Church for an incredible 49 years. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength and comfort through any challenges she faced. Tammy's commitment to her church community extended beyond attending services; she actively participated in various activities and events that enriched the lives of others.

Tammy had an infectious sense of humor that could light up a room. Her funny anecdotes and quick wit brought laughter wherever she went. She had an extraordinary ability to make even the most mundane moments memorable with her charismatic personality.

One of Tammy's proudest accomplishments was being a member of the Eastern Star organization. As part of this sisterhood, she formed lifelong friendships while contributing to important causes in the community. Her dedication to service and selflessness were evident in all aspects of her life.

Family meant everything to Tammy, she cherished spending time with her loved ones whenever possible. Her warm nature created an inviting atmosphere that made family gatherings truly special occasions. Whether it was sharing meals together or engaging in heartfelt conversations, Tammy made sure that every moment spent with family was filled with love and happiness.

Tammy is preceded in death by her parents, Billy Brookshire and Janelle Finley; grandparents, William and Grace Finley; father, Edward Jordan; nephew, Kevin Jordan; sister, Elizabeth Jordan; sister-in-law, Anna Jordan.

Tammy is survived by her husband, Terry Ramsey of Mabank, TX; son, James Byars and wife Tayla of Grand Saline, TX; son, Jordan Byars and wife Heather of Gun Barrel City, TX; son, Jake Byars and wife Samantha of Gun Barrel City, TX; sister, Stephanie Brown and husband Robert of Euless, TX; brother, Kevin Jordan of Athens, TX; sister, Catherine Otterline and husband Kenneth of Mabank, TX; sister, Carla Brookshire of Lewisville, TX; sister Micaela Bee and husband Ken of Gun Barrel City, TX;  sister, Wendy Curry of Arlington, TX; grandkids, Jayden, Harper, Lennox, Hendrix, Hank, Whitten, Jordan, Breanna, Jarren, nieces and nephews, Chris, Carl, Callie, Robert, Lucas, Kassie, Kieran, Kaley, Peighton, Elijah, Michelle, Micheal, Morgan, Glen, Aaron, and numerous other friends and loved ones.
