Sylvia Jolene Donahoe

Sylvia Jolene Donahoe, 75, went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2022.  She was born on August 16, 1946, in San Antonio, Texas, to parents Joseph Logan Koch and Allyne Spear Koch.

Jolene married the love of her life, James “Buddy” Donahoe, on July 4, 1993.  She loved her family immensely and was always excited to attend her grandchildren’s events and sporting activities.  Her generosity and compassion were evident in everything she did, including volunteering at the local food bank and church functions.  Jolene was a go-getter in every sense of the word.  She was quite adventurous and enjoyed life to the fullest.  She loved to dance, so there is no doubt that she is dancing in heaven with all those who have gone before her.  She was strong, honest, brave, and full of God’s love.  The deepest desire of her heart was that everyone would know and love Jesus.  Jolene will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by sons Jason Donahoe and wife Cristal, and James Donahoe and wife Melissa; grandchildren Aubrie Hughes, Ainsley Donahoe, Jacob Donahoe, Jordan Donahoe, Jayden Donahoe, and Jace Donahoe; nephews Jason Koch and Timothy Koch; and niece Kimberly Elkins.

Jolene is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Allyne Koch; her husband James “Buddy” Donahoe; and brother Kenneth Koch.
