Sylvia Peyton

Sylvia Garnett Peyton passed away on October 7, 2020.  She was born May 7, 1946, in Winnsboro, Texas, to the home of Ulysses Sylvester and Grace Beatrice Jordan.

She enjoyed going gambling with her sister and brother-in-law and fishing with the grandkids.  These were some of her favorite hobbies.  She also collected cookie jars.  You could not get her away from the TV if Family Feud was on.  More than anything, she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them having cookouts.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sylvia is survived by children Cindy Jinkins and husband Richard, Kimberly Pratt, and Lisa Jo Lueck; 4 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother Henry Jordan and wife Christine; sister Brenda Lockley and husband Alton.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Dennis; sons Keith Holmes and Kenneth Holmes; one half-brother; several half-sisters.
