Steven Marshall Emerson

Steven Marshall Emerson went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 6th, 2022, at home, surrounded by loved ones.

Steven was born to John and Blanche Emerson (Suchy) in Shreveport, La, on November 17th, 1952. Steven was a United States Air Force Veteran and worked for General Electric Medical until retiring. Steven loved to sit outside and watch the lake. His hobbies were working in the yard, fishing, listening to talk radio, and hanging out with family and friends. He is known as “Keeper of the Cove” to many of his friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Emerson, and step-father, Jerry Suchy.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Carol Emerson; his daughter Stacy Thompson and husband Justin from Decatur, Texas; his son Keith Emerson and wife Tanna from Wylie, Texas; his daughter Kristina Black and husband Brandon from Eustace, Texas; his seven grandchildren, Dawson Thompson, Garrett Thompson, Jayson Losiewicz, Madelyn Thompson, Knox Emerson, Lakyn Emerson, and Jazlynn Black; his mother, Blanche Suchy; his three sisters, Barbara Duke, Jan McMillian, and Rebecca Scoville; numerous extended family members and hosts of friends.
