Stephen Gerard Coleman

Stephen Gerard Coleman, 65, of Gun Barrel City, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2021.  He was born on December 12, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri, to his mother Dorothy Coleman and father Ignatius Coleman.

Stephen was a carpenter by trade; cedar woodworking was his passion.  He was well known for his cedar crosses and chests.  His talent also lied in playing pool, and he frequently played in tournaments and was state-ranked for his talent.  He was always one to greet friends with a handshake or hug and was a well-known friend to many in the area.  He will be dearly missed by his many siblings and family members.

He is survived by his mother Dorothy; son Joseph; siblings Mike, Randy, Tony, Jeanette, LaDonna, Hope, and Trina; his girlfriend Aimee Mooneyham.

He is preceded in death by his father Ignatius.
