Sholeena Marie Shepherd

Sholeena Marie Shepherd, 55, passed away on May 4, 2021.  She was born on December 28, 1965, in Logansport, Indiana, to Terrance Lawayne and Naomi Frogge.

Sholeena was known by all as Shoni, a nickname given by her mother.  She was a very warm and friendly woman to all who met her.  She had a tremendous amount of friends that she cared about.  She loved to read Cassie Edwards books, crochet, crosswords, and she absolutely loved being a grandma above all.  She worked at the Wal-Mart in Athens, Texas, and of course, in the fabrics and crafts department.  She loved everyone that she came to meet over the years.  She found great love and happiness when she met her husband, Kevin Shepherd.  They hit it off like nobody knows.  Just talking about him, she was all smiles and giggles and looked like a kid on Christmas morning.  He was a blessing to her.  She was a Baptist and believed in God and his word.  God called on another Angel and chose Shoni.  May she Rest in Peace.  We all loved her.

She is survived by her husband  Kevin Shepherd; daughters Anita Tate and husband Eugene and Sara Hoffmeister and husband David; granddaughter Katelynn Tate; mother Naomi Frogge; mother-in-law Gloria Shepherd; sisters Traci Denton and husband Almond and Lynn Jager; brothers Alan Kundenriech and Tom Kundenriech; sister-in-law Kim Hartis and husband Keith; nieces Destiny Milaiskis, Sabrina Smith, Brandi Hollingsworth, and Juanita Truesdale; nephews Koby Hartis and wife Julia and Kole Hartis and fiance‘ Emma.

Sholeena is preceded in death by her father Terry Frogge; sister Sandra Judd; father-in-law Bobby Shepherd.
