Shirley Ann Owens (Ivie), 69, passed away on May 3, 2021. She was born on August 1, 1951, in Dallas, Texas, to William Douglas and Alpha Ivie.
She was a loving, caring mother, grandmother, and friend with a “bigger than life” personality. Her main hobby was selling Paparazzi Jewelry to her “Ladybugs.” She liked living in the country, sitting on her porch, drinking her coffee. Her biggest joy in life was her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Shirley was indeed a “one of a kind” and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Shirley is survived by her sons Stephen Ray Tate and Allan Duanne Tate; six grandchildren Tanner Tate, Taylor Tate, Teren Tate, Trendon Tate, Corbin Tate, and Kylie Tate; one great-grandchild Husley Tate; brother William “Mike” Ivie and wife Wanda June.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Pastor Keith Williams with Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Eustace, Texas, will officiate for the Owens family.
