Sheila Bernice Stephens

Sheila Bernice Stephens, 51, of Tool, Texas passed away on July 29, 2024. Sheila was born on September 23, 1972, to Don and Dorothy Hoenig in Mesquite, Texas. 

Sheila was raised in Mesquite, graduating from Old Mesquite High School. She worked for El Chico for several years as a manager and waitress, but when her family started to grow she stayed home and cared for her children. 

Sheila has spent the last 10 loving years with her husband, Travis. She enjoyed fishing and working outside with Travis, and loved her dogs, Andy and Pistol. Sheila is a beloved Wife, Mother, Sister and Grandmother, and she will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Dorothy; husband, Travis; children: Dalton Wagener and Brooke Wagener; step-son, Kolton Stephens and wife Kaylee, and step-grandchild Kline Stephens; sister, Kimberly Hoenig Whitney and husband Kenneth; brother, John Croan, as well as numerous extended family and friends.
