Samuel Otto Thomas 61 was born July 24, 1949 in Dallas, Texas to the home of Granvel Thomas Sr. and Dora Whitaker Thomas and passed away April 19, 2011 in Tyler, Texas. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of thirty-three years Darlene Thomas, children Edward Garver, Adrian Thomas and his wife Gabrielle, Amanda Rodriguez and her husband Julian, brother Granvel Thomas Jr. and his wife Dorothy, Wallace Ray Thomas and his wife Kim, sisters Elaine Long and her husband Marion, Darla Matsolf and her husband Randy, grand children Kelly Ornelas, Christian Ornelas, numerous other family members and many friends. Graveside services were 3:00 PM April 23, 2011 at the Ware Cemetery in Seven Points, TX. with Bro. Billy Hatcher officiating under the direction of Moorhead Epps Funeral Home in Gun Barrel City.
