Ruth Busby

Ruth Frances Busby, 95, of Malakoff, TX was born on March 2, 1919 in Van Buren AK, to the home of Henry W. Whitfield and Myrtle Mae Grubbs Whitfield; passed away on April 23, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Gilbert R. Busby, bother Powel Whitfield, sister Bernice Leila Griffin. Left to cherish her memories are her sons Jack P. Busby, Irvin Curless and sister JoAnne Hawkins; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Ruth loved her church St. Justin, Martyr Episcopal in Canton, TX. Her interest included fine art, home make cooking, gardening and doing for others.
