Ronald Alan Almaraz

Ronald “Ronnie” Alan Almaraz, 59, passed away on October 9, 2019.  He was born on August 12, 1960, in West Palm Beach, Florida, to the home of Leonel Garcia and Barbara Lawhon Almaraz.

Ronnie was a very diverse individual, and he always saw the good in everything.  He loved the outdoors, especially fossil hunting.  He contributed his many finds to different museums in Dallas, Corpus Christi, and McKinney, Texas. He enjoyed his excursions with his mother, Barbara Lawhon, to the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas.  Ronnie was also an avid garage and estate sale scavenger, always looking for the unusual.  He loved animals, and they loved him.  He would stop to pet any stray dog he happened to encounter.

Ronnie is survived by his parents; brothers Michael Gary Almaraz and Jeffrey Brian Almaraz.

He is preceded in death by his extended family in Florida.

Ronnie will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
