Robert Gene Lauderdale

Robert Gene Lauderdale, 54, passed away on October 16, 2021.  He was born on June 7, 1967, in Fort Sill, OK, to parents Bobbie Bartree and Letta June Poe Lauderdale.

Robert never met a stranger.  His willingness to love without judgment was infectious.  Robert’s love for the Lord allowed him to see and love others as Christ saw and loved them.  He taught us how to experience a child-like faith and come to the Lord always expecting a miracle.  It was through Robert’s life, we learned that every single life has value and that it is okay to be different.  To say that Robert will be greatly missed is an understatement.

He is survived by brothers Jerry D. Lauderdale and wife Cheryl L., Dennis J. Lauderdale, and Richard K. Lauderdale; a host of nephews, great-nephews, nieces, great-nieces, and friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Bobbie B. Lauderdale and Letta J. Poe Lauderdale; sister Rebecca Ann Lauderdale.

Pastor Tim Shepherd, with Restoration Church in Eustace, Texas, will officiate for the Lauderdale family.
