Robert Eli Early

Robert Eli Early of Gun Barrel City, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on May 4, 2017.  He was born February 6, 1956 in Wichita Falls, Texas to parents of Robert Edward & Lavada  Grace Little Early.

After graduating high school in Denison, Texas, Robert chose to serve our country in the United States Air Force.  Following that, in 1982, he completed a Bachelor Degree of Science from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.  After he completed his degree he chose to work for many years in the aircraft industry, traveling across the county to work, with his job even taking him as far away as Israel.  He also spent a large amount of time passing on his knowledge as a teacher and machine tool instructor in Woodward, Oklahoma.  Robert was blessed with two children; a daughter Sarah Grace Mathes of Dallas, Texas and a son Reed Ethan & his wife Marissa Early of Yukon, Oklahoma.  What made Robert the happiest was spending time with his four grandchildren; Seven Eli Mathes, Cadence Marie Early, Berkley Grace Early, & Annabelle   Reed Early.  Robert has many other family members and a host of friends who loved him; he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Mostly he cherished spending time with his beloved family and friends.

In Robert's spare time, he enjoyed building things and working with his hands.  He spent much of his life working on cars, his homes, or a myriad of other projects.  He also greatly enjoyed riding his motorcycle and chasing the perfect catfish and hushpuppy dinner.

Robert is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and his sister Terra Lynn Dyer.

Rev. Paul McKinney with Caring Hearts Hospice will be officiating for the Early family.

Robert will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched even briefly.
