Memorial Service for former firefighter and long time resident of Log Cabin Raymond Eugene (Gene) Duckett will be held at the New Hope Ministries in the Red Barn in Log Cabin on March 9 at 2 pm.
Raymond Eugene Duckett, 76, of Log Cabin, TX was born on June 19, 1936 in Grandview, TX to the home of Shelby Duckett and Connie Hartis; passed away on February 25, 2013 in Athens, TX. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and 9 brothers and sisters. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 46 years Shirley Duckett, children Trena Davis and Elisha Ann Duckett, grandchildren Tina Taylor, Meagan Gunter, Michael Gunter, Amy Parish, and Randy Davis and other family and friends.
