Ray E. Buchanan of Gun Barrel City, TX was born on February 1, 1946 in Nashville, TN to the home of Herbert Buchanan and Pernita Dickerson Buchanan and passed away on October, 18, 2013 . He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Travis Buchanan. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Susan Buchanan.. children Jeremy Shaw, Tracey Trusty and husband Stan, Jennifer Heaton and husband John, Keris Patton and husband Roger , Johnathon Shaw; brothers Jimmy Buchanan and wife Carol, Robert Buchanan and wife Jackie, Paul Buchanan, Matthew Buchanan ; sister Imogene Leonard and husband Dave, 8 grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild and many other family and friends. Visitation services will be held from 6-8pm Sunday, October 20, 2013. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, October 21, 2013 at Moorhead Epps Memorial Chapel officiated by Reverend Barry Boatright with burial following at Roselawn Cememetry in Seagoville, TX under the direction of Moorhead Epps Funeral Home.
