Phillip Blankinship

Phillip Blankinship of Kemp, Texas passed away peacefully on August 22, 2017 at his home with his loved ones at his side.  He was born July 9, 1962 in Spearman, Texas to Earl & Clesta Anderson Blankinship.  Phil grew up in a loving home with a brother; Bob Blankinship and 3 sisters; Celeste Blankinship, Sheree Bankinship & Earline Blankinship.

Phil went to school in San Jose, California.  He worked for many years as painter, but he was a true jack of all trades, there was nothing that he couldn’t do.  Phil married the love of his life Cindy on November 9, 1984.  He was blessed with 3 children; Tonya Voyles & her husband Louis, Shawn Blankinship & his wife Tiffany Flores and Samuel Blankinship & his wife Randi Miles.  And what truly gave him joy was spending time with his 8 grandchildren.

In his spare time he enjoyed being outside, fishing, mowing the yard.  But mostly Phil cherished spending time with his wonderful family and friends.  Phil was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Phil is preceded in death by his parents.
