Penny Lee Roberts

Penny Lee Roberts, 54, passed away on September 3, 2022.  She was born on September 26, 1967, in Dallas, Texas, to parents Richard Roberts and Doris Briscoe Roberts.

Penny enjoyed fishing, playing pool, camping, floating on the river, traveling, and spending time at the beach.  She liked her smoke and being chill.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was always ready to go and have fun.  Penny was a professional mover and packer for over 20 years and was one of the best in the business.  She was a loving sister and loyal friend to many.  She was fiercely protective of her mother and family.  Penny’s motto was: “Working for Jesus.”  Her hope would be that we would all find Jesus.  Penny will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother, Doris Jean Briscoe; brothers Richard Lee Roberts, Jr., and Benjamin Ray Roberts; sister Debra Roberts; nieces Stephanie Grant, Tanya Roberts, Elizabeth Roberts, Madison Roberts, Jessica Boykin, Jacqueline Bertrand, and Macie Roberts; nephews Richard Lee Wyatt Roberts, Benjamin Blake Roberts, Devin Ray Roberts, John Roberts, and Mason Roberts; numerous grand-nieces and nephews; and a great big bunch of friends including her dearest friend and caregiver, Lindy Wicker.

Penny is preceded in death by her father, Richard Lee Roberts, Sr., stepfather Raymond Briscoe, grandmother Mary Pauline Connelly, niece Savannah Roberts, and uncle Ricky Eugene Davis.
