Paul David Guard

Paul David Guard, 69, passed away on April 16, 2020.  He was born on February 15, 1951, in Peoria, IL, to the home of Paul William and Ester Marie Guard.

Paul was a Vietnam Veteran serving his country in the US Army.  He worked security for several years, and for the Pabst Brewing Company.  Paul was a member of the American Legion.  He had many varied hobbies; he was a NASCAR fan, avid bowler, coin collector, marksman, and pool player.  He will be dearly missed by his family and all those who knew him.

He is survived by children JoAnn Kimberly Case, Christina Mae Stanton, Daniel Keith Guard, and Paul Everett Guard; grandchildren Samantha Case, Ellen Case, Christopher Case, Kayla Stanton, Star Stanton, Roc Stanton, Moon Stanton, Wolf Stanton, Daniel Guard, Jr., and Casey Andrew Guard; three great-grandchildren; brothers James Thomas Guard and John Columbus Guard; and sister Priscilla Ruth Rodriguez.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents; and grandchildren Dwight Stanton, and Kaitlyn Marie Guard.
