Paula L. Rodriguez

Paula Lynn Rodriguez, 62, passed away on June 23, 2023, in Dallas, TX. She was born on July 26, 1960, in Terrell, TX, to parents Gene and Jerry (Hall) Thorn.

Paula served in the United States Army. Her courage is a testament to her unwavering patriotism and devotion to her country. Paula's military service was a source of great pride for her, as well as for all of us who knew her. She was also a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary in her local area. 

Paula had an eye for fashion design. Whether it was sketching new designs or bringing them to life with fabric and thread, Paula's talent was boundless. Playing cards and solving puzzles were ways for her to unwind and reconnect with loved ones. Dancing held a special place in Paula's heart. With each graceful step, she brought smiles to those around her.

Paula is preceded in death by her mother, Jerry Ferrell of Cedar Creek, TX; father, Gene Thorn of Terrell, TX; sister, Tena France of Sulphur Springs, TX; sister Misty Willis, of Wills Point TX; aunt, Joy Creech of Terrell, TX; cousin, Teresa Haris of Austin, TX; and cousin, Randy Creech of Licking, Missouri.

Paula is survived by her brother, James McCarter of Groesbeck, TX; sister, Billie Posey and husband Steve of Groesbeck, TX; and children Andy, Amanda, Dayvid, Destiny, Brandon, and their children; sister, Vickie Bryer and husband Ted Wills Point, TX; and children Alexis, Ashlie, and their children; brother Gene Willis of Wills Point, TX; and children; Dakota and Kaylie, brother, Scotty Willis of Wills Point, TX; and children; Cheyenne, Brandy, and Joesph, brother, Alan Delaney of Forney, TX; and daughter, Harper, nephew, Brent Urban of CA; and children; Rome and Micah, nephew, Stephen Thorn of CA; nephew, Cory France of Round Rock, TX; and children; Caiden and Cooper, niece, Ashton Thorn and daughter Tena Aubrey.
