Pat Ellison

Patricia Ann Ellison, age 77, passed away on January 21, 2025, at her home in Tool, Texas. She was born on May 26, 1947, in Little Rock, Arkansas to parents Roy and Lily (Pratt) Forester.

Pat's heart belonged to her husband, Don, whom she cherished deeply. Their bond was one that few could rival; they were best friends for over 54 years, proving to her parents that their love would last. Don passed in July 2020, leaving a significant void in Pat's life. Her love for him remained unwavering until her last days.

Family meant everything to Pat. She found immense joy in making memories with her children, a son and a daughter, and later became a proud grandmother and great-grandmother. She was always involved in her grandchildren's activities, attending their events with enthusiasm and encouragement. Pat was well-known for her vibrant personality and her deep love for family and friends. She had a spontaneous spirit that drew people in, and everyone loved talking to her. She was sweet, compassionate, and honest, a true friend to many.

Pat also had a zest for life beyond family. She loved tending to her small farm and caring for her animals. She had a special fondness for Louisiana, often visiting the boats in hopes of hitting the jackpot, and she was known to enjoy working in game rooms where she could catch up with everyone she knew. Puzzles also held a special place in her heart; she adored working on large count puzzles, relishing the challenge they presented.

In a poignant twist of fate, Pat’s beloved sister passed away just hours before her, a final ride together that they often joked about. Their shared adventures, including a wild memory of chasing down a greyhound bus that took them states away, will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew them. They are forever traveling around together now with Don.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Roy Wayne and Lily Mae Forester; husband, Donald A. Ellison; brother, Allen Forester; brother, Carl Forester; and sister, Virgina Ramey.

Pat is survived by her son, Dewayne Ellison and wife Carrie Ellison; daughter, Clarissa Gordon and husband Donald; granddaughter, Stormie Ellison; granddaughter, Ashlee Gomez and husband Jose; granddaughter, Tiffany Anthony and husband Joel; grandson, Marlon McCoy; great-granddaughters, ShayLynn Murphy; Letty Murphy; Avery Farrington; Hermione McCoy; and Zara McCoy; brother, Dale Forester and wife Tammy Forester; brother, Larry Forester; brother, Ricky Forester; as well as numerous other family, friends, and loved ones.
