Nancy Ann Brown

Nancy Ann Brown of Gun Barrel City, Texas passed away peacefully on August 20, 2017 at her home with her loved ones at her side. She was born September 20, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to Albert Clarence & Onnie Gray Fritz. Nancy grew up in a loving home with 3 brothers; Ray, Walton & Clarence and a sister Tinna Dickens.
Nancy went to Sunset High School in Dallas, Texas. She had the hardest job in the world, working as house wife. Nancy married her true love James in 1991. She and James were blessed with 6 wonderful children; Delinda McBabe, Vanessia Smith & her fiancé Charles, Jacky Fritz & his wife Tiffany, Wendy Dalton, Jamie Brown and Jennifer Brown. What really made her heart smile was spending time with her 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
In her spare time she enjoyed being outside enjoying fishing, cooking, watching Wheel of Fortune and cheering for her beloved Dallas Cowboys. But mostly Nancy cherished spending time with her wonderful family and friends. Nancy was a great wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Doris Fritz.
Brother Todd Peavy with Victory Baptist Church of Scurry, Texas will be officiating for the Brown family.
