Melissa LeAnn Jessie

January 8, 1972 — June 16, 2021

Melissa LeAnn Jessie was born on January 8, 1972, in Athens, Texas, to the late Jack and Lanell Templin.  She lived her entire life in the Cedar Creek Lake area.

You never had to wonder what she was thinking; she was the epitome of “I did it my way.”  Melissa loved her sons Justin & Brandon, and those granddaughters Adley Kay and Taliyah were the light of her life.  Melissa took care of many of her friends over the years.  She was free-hearted, quick to give, and loved being the center of everyone’s attention.  Her love of life was evident, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by Sons Justin Lee Jessie of Gun Barrel City, Texas, and Brandon Alan Shaw and wife McKenzie; Granddaughters Adley Kay and Taliyah of Dallas, Texas; Brother Doug Templin and wife Betty of Athens, Texas; Aunt Billie (Diddee) Dyer of Seven Points, Texas; Nieces Sarah White,   Jenna Kinabrew, and Amanda Templin; Nephews Jeb Bearden, Joshua Boles, Shane Boles, Coy Ray Boles, and Larry Daniel Boles; 15 great-nieces and nephews and nine great-great-nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.

Special love and thank you to Paul Wayne Holt and Helen Holt.

Bro. Rick Wyatt will officiate for the Jessie family.
