Melanie Kay Wren, 62, passed away on August 28, 2021. She was born on July 4, 1959, in Hemet, California, to parents Raymond John Buck and Carrie Laverne Neighbors.
She loved spending time with family and friends and sharing her testimony of God’s work in her life.
Melanie is survived by her father Raymond John Buck of Cherryvale, Kansas; stepdad Jerry Morton of Eustace, Texas; daughters Crystal Wren of Odessa, Texas, Shania Morton of Eustace, Texas; twin sister Mary Harvey of Mabank, Texas; sister Melissa Toombs of Eustace, Texas, and sister Jana Buck of Wichita, Kansas; brothers Jeff Barnes of Brian, Texas, Bill Buck of Kansas, Victor Buck of Kansas, and Marty Buck of Kansas; nieces Jennifer Harvey of Austin, Texas, Kari Taylor of Eustace, Texas, and Amanda Toombs of Mabank, Texas; nephews Trey Toombs of Gun Barrel City, Texas, John Harvey of Tyler, Texas, James Harvey of Chicago, Illinois; sister-in-law Patsy Buck of Palba, Texas; and numerous family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother Carrie Laverne Morton; brother Marion Buck.
Pastor Glenn Dyson will officiate for the Wren family.
