Maxie Hamilton

Maxie Wayne Hamilton Sr. 76 of Gun Barrel City was born in Irving, TX on August 25, 1938 and passed away February 1, 2015. He served his country in the army reserves for eight years. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 18 years Cynthia Renee Hamilton, children Lakissha Hamilton Peek, DeWayne Brown and his wife Cynthia, Ricky Hoops and his wife Michelle, Betsy Hamilton, Dess Byram, Maxie Hamilton Jr., Randell Eads, Edna Thornton, Taylor Eads, nephew Keith Kile and his wife Lacinda, sister Carol Kile and her husband Willard. 10 grand children, 1 great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews, other family memebers and many friends. Maxie was preceded in death by mother Rosa Lee Hamilton, brother Monty Hamilton, and grandson Christopher Hoops. His Visitation will be Thursday February 5, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be Friday February 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Rev Marvin Partin officiating. Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery.
