Mary Sue Williams

November 12, 1939 — January 10, 2022

Mary Sue Williams, 82, passed away on January 10, 2022.  She was born on November 12, 1939, in Terrell, Texas, to parents Hubert and Beatrice Marie Stewart.

She was married to Sydney Freeman in 1955 until he passed away in 1997.  Bill and Sue were together since 1998.  Sue worked for several car dealers and then Dresser Oil Company as a bookkeeper.  She very much enjoyed working for a Container Box company traveling and selling containers.  Sue liked to fish, enjoyed working in the yard, and going to Las Vegas and Shreveport.  Bill and Sue traveled to the Oregon Coast and visited family in Lubbock.  Bill’s sister and Sue were very close, as well as his nephew Brett.  To Sue, family was important and she was close to many family members.  She was faithful to acknowledge God in her life and His work in the lives of her family members, friends, and loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, Billy D. Williams, who lovingly took care of her in their home; son Steve Freeman and wife Joann; stepdaughter Robin; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Beatrice; sister Betty Krause, daughter Susan Beth McCarty, and stepson Cal Ray Williams.

Pastor Richard Seim will officiate for the Williams family.
