Mary Cheri Frederick

Mary Cheri Frederick was born on January 23, 1954 to Herbert and Helen Sloan Frederick in Scott AFB, Illinois.  Mary departed this life on June 2, 2019 after a brief battle with cancer.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Helen Sloan Frederick.

Mary is survived by John Blake Foster of Arlington, Texas, and her brother, Thomas Frederick (Margie) of San Diego, California.

Mary was a registered nurse for 23 years and enjoyed doing crafts of all kinds.  She was a devout Catholic and many times when visited by the resident chaplain had the Catholic channel on the TV.  She kept a figurine of The Last Supper close by her side at all times, and loved to recite The Lord’s Prayer, which she knew well.  Mary’s favorite story in the Bible was 1 Samuel, which tells the story of Hannah.
