Marvin Edward Horton

Marvin Edward Horton, 75, of Kemp, Texas passed away on April 12, 2019.  He was born January 29, 1944 in Dallas, TX to the home of James and Marvine Carroll Horton.

Marvin attended Rylie High School in Dallas, Texas.  He worked many years as a General Contractor.  In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and dirt track racing.  He cherished spending time with family and friends.

Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Paula; children Troy Horton, Teresa Holleman & husband Lee, Haley Jackson, Trey Horton, Kyleigh Horton and Kayleigh Horton; brothers Mike Horton & wife Jane, Raymond Horton, David Horton & wife Darla, Roy Lee Horton & wife Jennie; sisters Pat Bradley & husband Doug and Nancy Pugh; 3 grandchildren Tiffany Horton, Thomas Holleman, and Matthew Holleman.  Marvin will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Marvin is preceded in death by his parents; brother James Horton and sisters Martha Jo Henson and Barbara Jean Pendegraft.

Bro. Bob Perry with Cedar Creek Baptist Church will officiate for the Horton family.
