Mark F Armick, 72, went home to be with his Lord, August 9, 2012 after a brave and valiant fight with cancer. The son of the late Mark F and Gertrude Closson Armick, born in Logansport, Indiana on October 18, 1939. A 1959 graduate of Logansport High School, Mark also served in the US Air Force. He was a 32* Mason, member of Scottish Rite and a Shriner. He also served on the Gun barrel City, Tx city council. Mark retired from the Logansport Police Department in January,1995 and continued working at Partridge's Home Furnishings untilAugust of 2001 when he moved to Texas. He retired from Argon Medical in Athens, Texas. In November, 2011, Mark rededicated himself to His Lord and Saviour. He is a member of Rocking Country Church of Seven Points. On May 28, 1979, Mark married his beloved wife Diana, who survives. Also left to carry his memory are his much loved children,sons David and wife Jody of Indiana, Mark III and wife Jerri of Texas; daughters, Dana and (Larry) of Indiana, Anastacia and (Joshua) of Texas; grandchildren Brandon and wife Abby, Kristen, Danielle, Michael and wife Natasha, Nicholas and (Chelsea) all of Indiana, Madilyn, Jaden, Javon, and Sante Isabella (due Dec 6th, 2012) all of Texas, great-granddaughters, Kayleigh Armick and Emily Lucas, sisters-in-law Sharon and husband Richard and Cathy and husband, Nelson. He is also survived by 2 precious and dear Aunts, Virginia and Janet, of Logansport as well as loving family of cousins. The end of March, 2012, Mark was able to get to Indiana to see everyone and meet his newest great granddaughters and spend precious time with his beloved family. Visitation will be at Moorhead Epps Funeral Home on Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held 4pm on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Moorhead Epps Funeral chapel, with Pastor Woody and Gary Teel. Burial will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery in Mabank, TX under the direction of Moorhead Epps Funeral Home.
