Marion Weldon Van Noy

Marion Weldon Van Noy, 81, passed away on November 6, 2022.  He was born on July 25, 1941, in Fort Worth, Texas, to parents Marvin Sannel Van Noy and Rosie Mae Rawls Van Noy.

He was very proud of his career with Blue Cross Blue Shield as a COBOL programmer and was a talented problem solver.  Marion was a loving husband, father, and a loving and attentive caretaker, helping his wife run an adult foster care for over 30 years.  Marion will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Marion is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda Sue Van Noy; daughters Donna Lea and husband Ricky, Karen Beach and husband Mackey, and Janet Wood and husband Jon; son Brandon Van Noy and wife Holly; grandchildren Andy Biggers, Stephanie Wood, Bobby Rentzell, Ashley Price, Amy Shorter, Anthony Kincanno, Gracie Beach, and Lennox Shaffer; nine great-grandchildren; sister Helen Clark; brother Thomas Van Noy; 20 nieces; and 16 nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Rosie Van Noy, sisters Doris Young and Elizabeth Watson, and brothers Clyde Van Noy, Edward Van Noy, Donald Van Noy, Charles Van Noy, Raymond Van Noy, and Ralph Van Noy.
