Margaret Helen Johnson Everitt, 89, of Mabank, TX was born on December 31, 1923 in Martins Mill, TX to the home of Charles Odis Everitt and Cora Annie Parks; passed away on December 12, 2013 in Athens, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Milton D. Johnson "Buddy", her son Hal Evans, her stepdaughter Barbara Melton, her brothers O.C. Everitt and Bill Everitt, her sisters, Audrey Treadway and Jerri May Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Sharon Woods and her husband Dennis of Mabank, TX, grandchildren, Dennis Wayne Woods of Kerens, TX, Danny Woods and his wife Becky of Kemp, TX, Bradley Melton of Red Oak, TX , Tonya Carlson of Dallas, TX and Andrea Baxter of Paris, TX., 14 great grandchildren and many other family and friends.. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, with viewing beginning at 9:00 AM, December 16, 2013 at Liberty Baptist Church in Gun Barrel City officiated by Rev. Mike Burns and Rev. Billy Smith. Graveside services will follow at Bridges Chapel Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, TX officiated by Rev. Gordon Nelms under the direction of Moorhead Epps Funeral Home.
