Margaret Nell Bonner

Margaret Nell Bonner, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on August 23, 1953, Margaret filled her years with compassion, love, and a deep appreciation for life's simpler moments, particularly as she embraced a slower lifestyle in her later years.

Margaret's warmth and kindness will be profoundly missed by those who loved her. She is survived by her life partner and love, Charlie Bonner. Her daughters, Cyndi McCool and Kathy Courson, along with her husband Buck, hold cherished memories of their time together. The joy she brought into their lives is also reflected in her family, which includes her niece Christy Kesler and her husband Jon, as well as her niece Taylor McDonald and her husband Sky. Additionally, Margaret was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 21 great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her spirit forward.

Margaret has been preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Ruth and Lorene Conger Ruth, as well as her sister Bonnie Evans and her husband C.R., and her brothers Lloyd Thrasher and A.J. Ruth. Their memories will forever be honored as her legacy lives on through her family and friends.

A graveside service to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held on February 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at Moorehead - Melton Cemetery in Eustace, Texas. This gathering will allow friends and family to reflect on Margaret's life and the love she shared with them.

Margaret Nell Bonner will be remembered not only for her nurturing spirit but also for the lasting impact she had on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy of love and family will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who loved her.
