Linda Lee McGee

Linda Lee McGee, 73, passed away at her home in Malakoff, Texas, on October 17, 2021.  She went peacefully in her sleep to walk hand in hand with the Lord.  She was born on April 9, 1948, in Carmody Hills, Maryland, to parents Samuel Lacy and Rosemary Dawson Lacy.

From birth Linda had to face many medical challenges, and she never complained or waivered from her faith.  She was always there for anyone who needed anything and always had a smile on her face.  Linda loved animals, gospel music, her family, and friends.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her spouse Daniel DeLuna; daughters Cindy Coffee and Rebecca McDonald; sisters Barbara Browning and Marie Wagner; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Linda is preceded in death by her mother Rosemary Supples; father Samuel Lacy; daughter Brenda Bryant; brothers John Fugitt and Robert Fugitt; and sisters Luree Webb and Patricia Orr.

Bro. Ed Shauer, with First Church of the Nazarene in Gun Barrel City, Texas, will officiate for the McGee family.
