Lew Gene Lund II

Lew Gene Lund II, 53, passed away on September 25, 2019.  He was born on October 26, 1965, in Shreveport, Louisiana to the home of Lew Gene Jr. and Virginia Pryor Lund.

Lew was a kind and hardworking man.  He was married to his beautiful wife Loraine for 28 years.  He was an amazing guitar player who loved old rock and roll.  He had a love for wood working and has built many beautiful things over the years.  He also liked fishing, hunting, drawing, and riding horses.  Lew was an animal lover.  Every dog he has ever owned was treated like one of his kids.  He spent a lot of time with family and friends eating good food, smoking, and drinking a cold one.  He has made a lot of friends over the years and helped many people.  Lew was one of a kind and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years Evelyn Loraine Lund; children Joy Nichols and husband Brian and Trey Madden III and wife Angela; sisters Lori Lund and Kathy Lund; step-mother Jo Lund; sister-in-law Joni Lund; grandchildren Logan Nichols, Chloe Nichols, Bryson Nichols, Christian Madden, Payton Madden, Taylor Maulden, and Jessica Chapman; nephews Jonathan Lund, Michael Lund, and Brandon Lund and their families; nieces Valaree Reese, C.P. Lund, Wendy Allgood, Kristen Lund, Myka Brown, and Marcie Curtis and their families.

Lew is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Mike Lund and Danny Lund; and nephew Nathan Lund.
