Leo Freeman Malone was born in Shinewell, OK on April 18, 1938 to Herbert Malone and Irene Steel Malone and went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on March 21, 2013 in Tyler, TX. Preceded in death by parents Herbert and Irene Malone, son David Malone, and brother Joe Malone. Leo served in the Marines as a Military Police from 1957 through 1961. He was later employed by Beard Plumbing in Dallas, TX before becoming a self employed plumber in Mabank for over 40 years. Survived by wife Charlotte, children Cynthia Hurst of Montana, Melinda Graham of Rusk, TX, Debra Brown of Malakoff, TX, Vicky Nottingham of Rockwall, TX, Chris Brimer of Mabank, TX, Nannette and Larry Steele of Mabank, TX, Ginnie and Doug Gaskey of Wichita Falls, TX, Patrick Brimer of Athens, TX, Wendell Brimer of Arlington, TX sister Ann Ewing of Tyler, TX and brother Wayne Malone of Duncanville, TX, 21 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 25, 2013 at Liberty Baptist Church in Gun Barrel City, TX. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you a make a memorial of your choice.
