Larry Thomas Allen Sr. 60 was born May 31, 1951 in Dallas, Texas to the home of Thomas Burns Allen and Virginia Newton Allen and passed away October 5, 2011 at his home in Gun Barrel City. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 13 years Shirley Allen, children Larry Thomas Allen Jr., Devon Thomas Allen and his wife Kristi, Angela Ann Douglas and her husband Christopher, Jordan Temple Allen, Jacob L. Allen, step-daughter Leslie Russell and her husband Daniel, step-son James Tuner King, parents Thomas and Virginia Allen, brother Roland L. Allen, grandchildren Timber Brocaco, Jennifer Borcaco, Kaitlan Massey and husband Matt, Graci Douglas, Noah Ray Allen, Addison Douglas, great grand-daughter Braylee Massey and numerous other family members and many friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Brenda Joyce Allen and Jimmy L. Allen. Larry owned L.A Stylist in Mesquite,TX for 18 years and was a truck driver working for several companies including Snyder Trucking and Arkansas Best Freight Lines (ABF). The family will receive friends at the visitation11:00 AM until 1:00 PM October 15, 2011 Saturday morning. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at Oaklawn Cemetery Mabank. TX. following the visitation.
