Katherine Abshire

Katherine Louise Abshire 62 was born January 9, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to the home of Aubrey L. Whitson and Winnie Loyce Ingram Whitson and passed away March 8, 2012 in Athens, Texas. Left to cherish her memory are her children Brian Harris and his wife Cindy, Sherry Smith and her husband David, Paul Ray Harris Jr. and his wife Leah, Sisters Patricia Whitson and her husband Don, Dora Hole and her husband James, Susan Hale and her husband Arnold, Billie Loughlin and her husband Rim, grandchildren Josh Harish, Tristan Harris Josh smith, numerous other family members and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Abshire, brother Larry Whitson, and her parents. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday March 10, 2012 at the Moorhead Epps Funeral Home chapel in Gun Barrel City, with Jerry Burney officiating.
