Kassie Mae Jarvis, 79, passed away on August 23, 2021. She was born on October 12, 1941, in Ladonia, TX, to Dewey and Beulah Landreth.
Mae loved to color and she always needed colors. Her favorite thing to color was flowers. She colored iron-on transfers and put them together to make bedspreads, pillow covers, and quilts. When Mae wasn’t coloring she enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mae is survived by children Annette Lewis and husband Anthony, David Jarvis and wife Robin, and Linda Miller; 16 grandchildren Victoria, Connie, Brandi, Natasha, Brenda, Michelle, Felisha, Nevaeh, Mary, Michael Wayne Jarvis II, Justin, William, Leslie Morice Brock III, Amanda, Gary, and Nicolas; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters Virginia Coppack, Brenda Clendenen, Georgie Vincent, and Carla Landreth; and sister-in-law Latricia Landreth.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 27 years, Melvin Earl Jarvis; siblings Sharon Kay Landreth, Clarence Lee Landreth; sons Melvin Earl Jarvis, Jr., and Michael Wayne Jarvis; daughter Judy Gail Jarvis; and grandchild David Earl Jarvis, Jr.
Chaplain Jonathan Lilley with Caring Hearts Hospice will officiate for the Jarvis family.
Pallbearers are David Jarvis, Randy Jarvis, JR Jarvis, and Steven Robinson.
