Judy Darlene Tramel, age 71, passed away on January 19, 2025, in Athens, Texas. She was born on February 16, 1953, in Dallas, Texas to parents Wendell and Evelyn (Pritchett) Langley.

Judy's education included some college, but it was her engaging personality that truly educated those around her in the art of living well. Whether you encountered her during a game at the local bingo hall or while exploring flea markets, her laughter and warmth were infectious, making any gathering feel a little brighter.

Judy had a love for various hobbies that reflected her zest for life. She often spent time playing games on her phone, showcasing her competitive spirit while also enjoying moments of relaxation. It was not uncommon to find her crafting beautiful ceramics, a passion she poured her heart into, creating pieces that were not just items but fragments of her jovial spirit.

Her affection for the outdoors led her to the beach, where she found solace in the waves and sun, and to fishing, where she enjoyed quiet moments with nature. She also had a special fondness for the thrill that came with visits to the casino, where the lights and sounds would bring a smile to her face.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Evelyn Langley; husband, Donald R. Tramel; son, Donnie Tramel; granddaughter, Isabella Aguilar; grandson, Sean Lynn Smith.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Misty R. Tramel of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Brandy Tramel of Laguna Visa, Texas; granddaughter, Cera Adell Nicholsen of Mabank, Texas; granddaughter, Breanna Wade of Seven Points, Texas; granddaughter, Anis S. Agular of Dallas, Texas; grandson, Victor M. Sanchez of Navy/Dallas, Texas; grandson, Levi Smith of Kingsville, Texas; grandson, Gavin Smith of Kingsville, Texas; granddaughter, Brook Smith of Dallas, Texas; 8 great-grandchildren, brother, Ricky Langley of Garland, Texas; brother, Wendell Langley Jr. of Kaufman, Texas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
