Jose Patricio Flores

Jose Patricio Flores, 89, of Malakoff, Texas passed away on April 26, 2019.  He was born on January 5, 1930 in Anton, Texas to the home of  Manuel & Julia Salazar Flores.

Jose joined the United States Marines Corp and proudly served his country for 20 years.  In Jose’s spare time he enjoyed being outdoors working in his yard, going for long walks, fishing, going to church and spending time with his family and friends.

Jose is survived by his siblings Amy Flores, Louis Flores, Richard Flores, Lee Flores and Victor Flores; children Amanda Smith, Joann Flores, Johnny Flores and Mark Flores; grand children Candi Booker, Brandon Reyes, Katherine Belcher, Dallas Cox, Patrick Reyes, Johnny Flores, Lauren Perez and Brian Gonzales; great grandchildren Sonya Booker, Keldn Booker, Jasmine Reyes, Brandon Reyes, Shay Belcher, Amanda Booker, Tyler Reyes, Jesse Belcher, Andrew Cox, Kevin Booker, Olivia Reyes, Vanessa Gibson, Josh Cox, Nathan Gonzales and Spencer Reyes.  He has many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.  Jose will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Jose is preceded in death by his parents; sister Bernice Zook; brother   Manuel Flores; daughter Rose Flores and a great grand baby Anthony Reyes.

Father Lowry with Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Malakoff, Texas will officiate for the Flores family.
