Johnny Clyde Barr, 59, passed away September 6, 2023, in Tyler, Texas. He was born on September 25, 1963, in Orville, California to parents Alvin and Marlene (Bray) Barr.
Johnny led a life that was marked by love, kindness, and devotion to his family and community. On January 10, 2008, he married his best friend and love of his life, Mary at Tripp Baptist Church in Sunnyvale, TX. They spent 15 years full of love and happiness together.
Johnny loved lending a helping hand to anyone in need and would go above and beyond to support those around him. Being outdoors was where Johnny found time for himself, he could be found working tirelessly or casting his fishing line. Johnny cherished spending time with his grandkids but his number one priority in life was his beloved wife, Mary.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Marlene Barr, and his brother, Michael Barr.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Mary Brown Barr of Eustace, TX; stepson, John Zinke of Mabank, TX; stepdaughter, Billie Jean Murray and husband Cortney of Eustace, TX; daughter, Kayla Barr of Fairbanks, AK; grandson, Colten Brown and wife Bailey of Mabank, TX; granddaughter, Carlee Long and husband Timmy of Kaufman, TX; granddaughter, Stormy Barr of Fairbanks, AK; great granddaughter, Raelynn Brown of Mabank, TX; great grandson Ry’Lynn Waskom of Kaufman, TX; brother, Pat Barr and wife Sherri of Mabank, TX; brother, Glenn Barr and wife Nancey of Mabank, TX; and numerous other extended family and friends.
