Johnnie Lee Dasher was born to Charles and Helen (Chappell) Dasher on January 15, 1956, in San Antonio, TX. Johnnie passed away on April 30, 2023, in Mabank, Texas.
Johnnie spent his early childhood with boxing medals, belt awards for bull riding, learning about horticulture. Johnnie graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree and joined the US Navy where he served for several years. After his time in the Navy, Johnnie went on to become a professional Horticulturist owning serval businesses; where he spent many years mastering his skills and sharing his passion with others.
Johnnie will be remembered as a family man who always put his loved ones first. Johnnie had an unwavering love and dedication to his family. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, traveling with his family, and video photography. In addition to being highly skilled at horticulture, he enjoyed gardening projects, lantana and loved crape myrtles. He loved decorating their home during the holidays.
Johnnie, is survived by his wife, Diane (Swanson) Dasher of Mabank, TX; daughter, Tabatha White and Chris of New Braunfels, TX; son, Shane Dasher and Tiffany of Mabank, TX; granddaughter, Savannah Flores of Phoenix, AZ; granddaughter, Ally White of New Braunfels, TX; granddaughter Sierra Flores of San Antonio, TX; grandson, Jace Dasher and Whitney of Lindale, TX; grandson, Josh Brandon of Mabank, TX; grandson, Charlie Dasher of Mabank, TX; grandson, Logan Dasher of Lubbock, TX; grandson, Dylan Dasher of Mabank, TX; grandson, Zackary Dasher of Mabank, TX; and sister, Charlotte Juenke and Arkie of Bandera, TX.
Johnnie is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Dasher, and brother, Gary Dasher.
