Johanna Frances Stone

Johanna Frances Stone, 77, passed away on June 2, 2022.  She was born on January 3, 1945, in Dallas, Texas, to parents Harry Dudley Peters and Jeannie Frances Carter Peters.

Johanna worked for Michaels for 25 years in the floral department.  She enjoyed all forms of crafting, making flower arrangements, painting pictures, crocheting.  She was known for the stockings she would crochet for Christmas ornaments.  She also enjoyed working crossword puzzles and loved taking pictures. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Johanna will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years Earnest Robert Stone; sons James Robert Stone and wife Patty, Jerry Dale Stone, and Earnest Robert Stone, Jr.; grandchildren Tosha Holland, Ashley Stone, Samantha Huffman, Blake Edward Stone, Christopher Sean Stone, Katie Lynn Stone, and Emily Nicole Stone; great-grandchildren Caden Jones, Chloe Holland, Charles Fennell, and Arabella Stone; brother Reggie Peters; sister Harriett Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Johanna is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Jeannie Peters, and brother Dudley Peters.
