Jimmie Dale Ferrell

Jimmie Dale Ferrell, 89, passed away on September 30, 2020.  He was born on June 2, 1931, in Grayson, Louisiana, to the home of Freeman and Lucy Ferrell.

J.D. (Pops) was a long-time resident of Seven Points, Texas.  For many years he owned his own tile business, Seven Points Tile Company.  He retired only to start working weekends at Big Daddy’s Flea Market; he never missed a weekend.  He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 30+ years, Jerry; daughters Deborah Daugherty and husband Bill of Plano, and Stephanie Moore of Carrollton; sons Jack Ferrell and wife Nancy of Kentucky, and Kevin Wilemon and wife Pam of Eustace; grandchildren Michael, Phillip, Kirstin, and Erin; and a sister Sue Jones of East Texas.

J.D. was preceded in death by his parents.
