Jesse Leon Bynum

Jesse Leon Bynum, 64, passed away on September 6, 2021.  He was born on March 3, 1957, in Dallas, Texas, to parents Virgil Leon and Annie Joy Bynum.

Jesse loved the Lord and singing about Him.  He is no longer homesick for Beulah Land, but we’ll miss hearing him sing that song.  His grandchildren, Wheeler and Ruby, were the light of his life.  He never met a stranger and loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Bridget; daughter April Ranford and husband Shawn; grandchildren Wheeler Ranford and Ruby Ranford; sisters Anna Bynum-Wolters and Martha Reyna; brother-in-law Ben Gibson; nieces Brandi, Meisha, and Wendi; nephews Paul Works and Lil Ben Gibson; first cousin Danny Kirbie, who is more of a brother; and numerous other greats and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Virgin Wayne Bynum.

As he always said to Ruby, “See ya later alligator.”
