Jerry "Bubba" Melvin Dillard Jr.

Jerry (Bubba) Melvin Dillard Jr, 34, of Gun Barrel City, TX, passed away on August 13, 2017.

Jerry is survived by his sons Jasper Madix and Jayden Myles, long-time girlfriend Crystal Bass and her son Khristian, mother Karen Dillard of Tool, sister Marie McCuistion, half-sisters Julia Dillard, Jana Bloxom, and Shellie Beasley, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.  Jerry was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend to all.

He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Dillard, Sr, and his grandparents.

Jerry had a contagious smile, natural laugh, and a demeanor that would light up the room.  His biggest joy in life was spending time with his boys, Crystal, and close friends.  Jerry loved mechanics, carpentry, and multi-talented when it came to doing pretty much anything.  He also enjoyed fishing and rebuilding or just taking apart anything that had a motor.  Jerry was always there to help family and friends with whatever they needed him for.
