Jerald William Harrison, 77, passed away on May 28, 2020. He was born on December 18, 1942, in Angola, IN, to the home of Donald William and Ruby Carolyn Harrison.
Jerry served his country in the US Army. He later began his own janitorial business. After marrying his wife Carolyn, they combined their janitorial companies and together managed apartments and storage facilities. They were also storm spotters but never got to see one.
He was an active member of Round’Em Up Cowboy Church in Wills Point, Texas. Jerry loved his church family. He enjoyed doing evangelistic work playing his guitar and singing for the elderly in nursing and assisted living homes. He sang gospel music and country music from the 40s and 50s.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 35 years Carolyn; step-sons Billy D. Crocker, Sr. and wife Tincy and Douglas A. Crocker, Jr.; grandchildren Samantha Lee Carter and husband Kolby, Billy D. Crocker, Jr. and wife Lacy; great-grandchildren Avery Paige Carter, Kinley Dawn Carter, Brelyn Coe Baker, Luke D. Crocker, and Beau D. Crocker. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
